IaaC – Endesa Pavilion
Dynamic solar powered pavilion designed by The Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia as part of the Smart City Expo in Barcelona, Spain. The project is broken into triangular modules of varying sizes depending on the orientation to maximize solar energy production and reduce solar gain during the summer months. The angles of the modules also allow for solar gain during the winter months when the angle of sun light is lower. More interesting projects by IaaC below

It kind of reminds me of this ‘honeycomb’ architecture in Jerusalem

Thanks for the reblog!
Incredible structure! I wish I didn’t know that wood so well.
These are all renders so I’m not sure if this will ever be built or if it’s even possible to build it but hopefully it will be soon
Wow nice renders!
Just saw this on youtube so turns out they built this pavilion
